Policies for Castles Motel

Tariffs: Seasonal/unit rates and minimum booking periods apply. Extra charges may be levied e.g. for late departures or departures on public holidays.

Check-in is available from 2.00pm on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 10.00am on the day of departure. Early check-in or late check-out is by arrangement only.

Reception Hours: 8:00am – 9.00pm Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 8:00pm Saturday, 9:00am – 5.00pm Sunday and Public Holidays.

Payment for all accommodation must be made in full on the day of departure (if not already done so). Overdue/recovery charges may be made if your account is not paid on time.

Castles Motel accepts EFTPOS, Visa Card, Mastercard, .

Cancellation Policy:

A cancellation fee of one night's total tariff will apply if you cancel your reservation within 48 hours of your expected arrival. Failure to cancel a booking prior to arrival may result in the total reservation being charged. This is at the proprietors discretion. The cancellation fee may be waived if we are able to re-let the room/s for the period of the reservation cancelled.

Changes in reservation term:

Any changes in reservation term will be treated as a new booking and additional charges may apply. Any extension to a booking is subject to availability of rooms. Earlier departure than the reserved dates may not result in a refund unless the Motel management approve and are able to relet the booked accommodation.

Credit Card Guarantees:

Online/email & telephone reservations require authorization of a credit card. No charge will be made against the card details unless the guest fails to arrive for the booked accommodation or the Cancellation Policy is breached.

Visitors:

Visitors are permitted at the managements discretion. The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all other guests in their group and their visitors whilst on the property. All deliberate or reckless acts that result in damage to our property and any costs associated with inappropriate behaviour resulting in loss of income to the Motel will be charged to the registered guest. It is requested that all visitors leave the premises by 9.00pm in consideration for other guests.

Smoking:

Smoking is NOT PERMITTED in any of the units. Sand boxes have been provided outside the units for smokers to use. If smoking occurs in any of the units then you may be charged appropriate cleaning and loss of income charges.

Malodourous Cooking:

The cooking of shellfish and other strong smelling foods is not permitted in our Motel units. This is to avoid residual/lingering food odours that may be offensive to subsequent guests. If you do cook malodourous foods you may incur appropriate cleaning and loss of income charges. We do have an outdoor BBQ available if you wish to cook any of these foods. Please ask at Reception.
